WE
WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND
A
HAPPY
NEW YEAR!!
Once again it is that time of
year when we look beyond the humdrum of our daily lives and stop to remember
the family and friends who are important to us.
Each year our list of old friends grows shorter. We are left with treasured memories of Christmases
past reminding us how much we value our family and friends.
Ours has been a subdued
year. Our travels were a Florida visit,
two trips in the RV, one to our frequent desert haunts and another into
Northern Arizona, Nevada and California and a week on Kauai in Hawaii. While the aging process is evident in our
decidedly reduced activities, we are extremely lucky to enjoy good health for
the age bracket in which we reside. Nevertheless,
we are scaling back on our activities in an effort to preserve our strength for
the priorities in our life.
Book 2 of LIFE AS WE LIVED IT
is at the publisher’s and should be out in late January or early February. I hope that one day our children and
grandchildren will treasure our escapades as much as we have enjoyed
experiencing them. We have truly been
blessed.
Our daughter, Terri maintains
“oversight” in our daily activities – reminds us of the need to exercise,
admonishes us to eat sensibly and critiques our activities or lack
thereof. We are blessed to have her
diligent oversight.
Our son and daughter in law,
Gary and Marci, are busy with their respective lives and careers. We are
blessed to have them still in Glendale, in spite of their plans to move into
Orange County. Granddaughter, Lauren,
lives and works in Dallas, Texas. She
manages an occasional trip to LA for which we are grateful. Grandson, Sean, is still attending school in
San Diego and works part time. We do not
see enough of him.
We hope the New Year will bring
you good health, happiness and prosperity in proportion to your expectations.
