Check in and getting settled went well until I went to use my cell phone and discovered it was missing. I was not a happy camper though surrounded by luxury and comfort. I quieted myself by accompanying Ken to the dining room for lunch where I carefully searched for the missing cell. No luck. I remembered the last time I had it was when I read a Bon voyage text message from our dear friends, the Haselmans in the cab.
How to retrieve the phone was the next problem and since I had no phone, how to contact shore from the ship. I sent a note to Terri asking her to cancel my phone service. My concerns were comforted When we again met up with our traveling companions, Bill and Diane Herbert and Diane told me she had a phone call from Terri, who had been contacted about the phone and had requested that it be it sent to our home.
In deed, I was lucky. It is nice to have someone at home who looks after us. I am so grateful to Terri and appreciate her call to Diane to let me know she was in charge. Thank you dear sweet daughter and overseer at large.
So, with that news, I could hit the seas without worry about my phone and it's whereabouts.
Ken and Bill watched the fight and had a late night out on the ship while Diane and I unpacked, organized and did our own thing in our respective cabins.
Sunday has been quiet, uneventful and laid back. More to come. Seas are calm and all is well.
More to come.
